As a side hustle, survey taking gets a bad rep when it's a goldmine in reality.
The worst side hustle of all time?
The masses tend to trade their time for money. So much so that they sacrifice relationships with their friends and family to do so. Promising themselves that it will all be worth it once they have enough. But here's the thing about time: you will never get it back.
On top of their 9–5 jobs, many will start businesses from digital marketing to dropshipping to forex. Each of the side-hustles I just mentioned can bring in 4–5 figures per month, so you know what you are doing.
However, you are guaranteed a few hundred dollars a month with surveys, even if you bust your ass. Anyone who dedicates themselves to the 9–5 and the 5–9 will tell you that surveys are a waste of time. And for the following reasons other than the lack of money.
- You cannot scale to make more money as taking more surveys will take up all your time.
- The decent-paying surveys you take are not guaranteed to provide the same decent pay.
- Lastly, surveys are not a source of passive income, let alone one that you can live off.
